No matter the season, it’s difficult to go wrong with a black and beige combo.
Over the last few months, I’ve focused on building a wardrobe that is completely compatible. Nearly everything that hangs in my closet can be mixed and matched, and this factor alone has wildly simplified my getting-ready process. After saying goodbye to the bright colors and over-stylized patterns that no-longer reflect my personality, I was left with a neutral spectrum that starts with white, ends with black, and has a beautiful range of brown and beige tones in-between. This pairing down has not only simplified dressing at home, but also packing for travels.
During our recent visit to Nuremberg, I spent the day strolling the city in this easy-going autumn outfit. Sneakers were my go-to footwear for the afternoon, giving this look a casual Sunday feeling. But this sweater dress, trench coat, shoulder bag combo would take on a completely different vibe if paired with semi-shear black tights and block-heel ankle boots.
