I’ve finally updated the balcony with real furniture!
You can see from the before-and-after photos below that it was looking pretty uninviting, but after the addition of this cute little bistro set and a few plants, I think it looks pretty charming now 🙂





We’ve already enjoyed a few meals out there in spite of the noise from the train – it’s always blowing the horn so loud when it goes by but it’s something Sven and I have learned to live with.
I’m thinking about getting a few more plants for the corner behind the table. I want to have a little herb garden and maybe a palm tree – I ended up moving the split leaf philodendron (the big one in the left corner) back inside because it didn’t seem to be enjoying the direct sunlight very much. Now I have the perfect excuse to go to the garden shop! I’ll share more photos later once the “garden” is growing 😉 and you know I’ll be sharing plenty of photos from balcony dinners over the next few months 😛
