While most Scandinavian design lovers know Cooee Design for their iconic Ball vases and ceramics, the brand’s foundation actually began with a collection of contemporary jewellery.
Catrine Åbergs first launched Cooee in 2005 with a focus in creative fashion accessories from plexi. Over the years, Catrine expanded the Cooee Design collection to include many decorative accessories for the home that have become known world-wide. But jewellery is still at the core of the brand, and Cooee has many beautiful styles to explore — both elegant and imaginative.
Cooee recently collaborated with Swedish sculptor, Kristiina Haataja, to create the light and playful Malak earrings shown here. I love the bright and airy look of these silver pieces, and I think that the necklaces are particularly timeless and delicate — the prefect finishing touch for any outfit. The metal tray is also a part of the Cooee collection, and it makes a great catch-all for accessories.
