Hi friends,
Hope everyone is having a nice long weekend! Mine has been nice but for some reason I’ve had almost no energy – hopefully tomorrow I’ll wake up feeling refreshed instead of exhausted!
Anyways, here are some shots of my dining room. A few nights ago, I went out to the courtyard of my building and took a few branches. Hopefully the HOA doesn’t mind!
I’m not really a huge fan of true “decorations” but I really like decorating my home with plants, flowers, and greenery. I think it makes it feel so fresh and also makes the view from my apartment more bearable (all I get to look at from my window is a rundown brick building and the train tracks).
You can see from the picture above that the window over the kitchen sink peers into my dining room. I’m happy that I have that window but I would really prefer it if my kitchen were open to the rest of my apartment because it’s always too dark in there without a light on! But there’s not much I can do about that since I’m renting – haha. Guess I should be content with what I have and quit complaining 😉
The glass vase on my table is from Target and the glass pitcher on my kitchen windowsill is from Ikea.
Now I’m off to get in a long workout. I think that a good sweat session is just what I need to get my adrenaline up again!
XO
