Now that December has officially begun, I’m here to kick-off the holiday season with my Design Collector’s Gift Guide — forever-pieces suited for any design enthusiast.
For this season of giving, I’ve teamed up with Nest Co UK to put together a curated selection of gift ideas centered on timeless design. If you have a collector on your shopping list this year, hopefully this guide will spark a few ideas. I’ve included many of my favorite sure-to-be-classics — items like vases, small lamps, and eye-catching occasional tables.
There’s an iconic piece in just about every price range, with gift ideas starting around €30. Some of these items are designs we already own and use daily, and some are still on my wish-list. However, all of these pieces are functional and beautifully timeless — pieces that will endure for many years ahead thanks to their sculptural aesthetics, simple detailing, and honest materiality.
