If you’re on the hunt for the perfect knee-highs, let me direct your attention to the Frances Boots by Flattered. These leather beauties are the dream to wear all autumn and winter, and they add just the right amount of edge to any outfit.
[AD] I’ve been wearing these boots any chance I get since the weather turned cold, and I love how they amp up the ‘cool girl’ factor of any look. They are handmade in Portugal from the smoothest black cowhide and chrome-free goatskin for the lining. As a chic and classic riding boot, the cut comes too the knees and then gently tapers down the leg for an elongating optic. Flattered’s footwear tends to run small in my opinion, so I ended up taking the next size for a fit that allows me to pair these boots with cozy winter socks. Below you can see a few ideas for how I’ve been styling Frances all autumn. I love the fact that they instantly make any outfit feel complete, even if you pair them with a set of biker shorts and blazer or trench. I’ve also been wearing these boots with a simple satin skirt for a more flirty style, and of course (the tried and true go-to) pairing them with classic straight cut jeans. And best of all, they will keep your feet and legs wonderfully warm when winter hits.
