Last week during 3daysofdesign, Copenhagen’s annual design festival, FORESTA and I came together to present the work from our collaboration while sharing the brand’s vision for a more sustainable and caring world ahead.
Over the past year, FORESTA and I have worked very closely to bring these designs to life. The brand is deeply committed to design that is first and foremost rooted in ethical production and manufacturing methods which are none-damaging to the environment. To support these values of sustainability, the designs in Collection One are deliberately simple so that the timeless beauty of natural wood remains in focus.
During 3daysofdesign, FORESTA presented five products from the collection I designed. Each of these pieces are made from FORESTA’s very own sustainably grown teak and ethically manufactured by a small artisan workshop in Honduras. So as you might imagine, I’m very excited to share a few highlights from FORESTA’s pop-up exhibition at Nyt i Bo.
Designs from Collection One featured during 3daysofdesign included the Arco Candle Holder, Aldea Tray, Forma Plinth Table, Copán Table/Stool, and Tallo Wall Wardrobe.
