During 3daysofdesign, Danish interiors brand New Works presented an enveloping earthy showroom where nature was reflected in every corner, in both small and dramatic ways.
With the help of Lotta Agaton Interiors who oversaw the styling, New Works’ Copenhagen showroom was beautifully transformed into a space that echoed the grounding serenity of nature. Muted tones of gray, sage, and sand were complimented by the warming presence of large timber plinths and wild arrangements of greenery with a foraged feeling. But perhaps the most memorable bit of nature brought indoors was the massive olive tree that stood in the center of the first room, its wispy branches covered in dusty-green leaves.
I found the connectivity of styling between products and natural elements so incredibly thoughtful in each setting, with lots of subtle ties drawn between design and organic materials. In one setting, a canopy of Tense Pendant Lamps floated over mouth blown Blæhr Vases filled with stems of dried Lunaria — softly drawing parallels between the round paper-like leaves and the form of the pendants overhead.
To create a completed residence filled with both comfort and character, New Works collaborated with the Swedish bed brand Hästens, and artistic flair could be found throughout the showroom in the sculptural work of Ole Mynster Herold and Sofia Tufvasson.
