The much-loved French label Sézane has so many romantic pieces in their summer collection right now, but I’ve fallen head over heels for a few classic, seasonless staples I see myself wearing all throughout the year.

A few new Sézane essentials recently moved into my wardrobe — the classic Martin Trousers and Elys Jumper in ecru. I know that both of these garments will serve me well for many years to come.
The jumper is made from the most feathery soft mohair, and has a perfect relaxed oversized fit. It’s become my go-to sweater for chilly summer evenings, and looks so cute and laidback when wrapped around the shoulders with a pair of airy linen shorts. The Martin Trousers are in an entire class of their own, instantly creating that ever-coveted chic and effortless French girl style. The high-rise fit and tailored waistband flatters the figure so well, and the long wide-cut leg is fabulously elongating.
These trousers come extra long, so I hemmed mine to the perfect length with my favorite mules. Often times, I can feel a bit skeptical of light pants like these that also hug the body, but the material is incredibly well structured and not the slightest bit see-through. And of course, like all Sézane pieces, these garments are made from long-lasting organic materials that have been consciously sourced.
