New home, new scents — Now that we’re settled into our new apartment, I wanted to upgrade a few of the essential care products around our home. A wonderful range of items from Tangent GC recently arrived, and I’ve been loving the fragrances and natural ingredients.
Tangent GC is a Stockholm-based label specializing in organic care-focused products for your wardrobe and body. All of their items are produced in both Sweden and France, and are made solely from natural ingredients. What originally began as a line of garment care goods has grown into a full range of products for the body as well. Just as their soaps and hand creams are made to nourish and protect your skin, TGC’s detergents and fabric sprays are designed specifically to prolong the life of your clothing and omit degenerating harsh chemicals found in most traditional laundry soaps.
I always assign extra points when a product’s packaging is as lovely as whatever’s inside, and of course all of Tangent GC’s goods present fabulously thanks to their pared-back design. The metal soap Wall Bracket is one of TGC’s newest items, and it’s perfect for smaller bathrooms with limited counter space, like our guest WC. With a high-strength self-adhesive backing, installing the soap bracket was as simple as peeling off the sticker and pressing it to the wall. The FIR and OUD scents are two of my personal favorites from Tangent GC’s line. Although completely unique from each other, both are defined by a blend of woody notes that are masculine and clear, without being overpowering.
The YUZU Fabric Spray has also been quick to become a handy must-have for me. For many years already, I’ve been reducing the number of washes I subject my garments to, which has helped extend the life of my favorite pieces. This spray diminishes both odors and bacteria that linger on fibers, making it super ideal to use in between washes. I’ll absolutely be packing this one along with me the next time we travel, since it’s be perfect for a quick fabric refresh while on the road.
