During my most recent trip to Copenhagen, I had the joy of catching up with Robynn Storgaard while paying a visit to her calming and totally inspiring ceramics studio.
A few months ago when we first met, I shared a short article about Robynn – so if you want to learn a bit more about her work and interesting journey into the world of ceramics, click here to read my earlier story. Since our first visit, Robynn has moved to a new, completely dreamy studio that’s closer to her Copenhagen home. We spent the afternoon here catching up, and sharing our experiences and insights in this design-focused universe where we both exist. Robynn has recently launched her webshop where you can buy her ceramics – each unique and slowly made from locally sourced Scandinavian clays and glazes. She’s become known for her fluidly formed vessels and carefully carved cups which she compliments with a range of soft and understated pastel glazes. These aesthetics of her work mirror Robynn’s ethos for slow living – calm, thoughtful, and meant to be cherished.
